- In 1987, the title song of the book is adapted into the song with the same name with music by Robby Merkin.
- Despite being published in the 1980's, the Sesame Street Muppets from the 1980's who are absent in this book are Telly, Elmo, Forgetful Jones, Dr. Nobel Price, Countess Dahling von Dahling, and others.
- There are some changes in the 2018 reissue cover:
- The background is blue.
- The Sesame Street sign is modified to its current form.
- The title is blue and in a different font.
